Red/Black Tremolo 3D Printed CNRG #00009
Serial Number: #00009 is our second offering of the production model body. Manufactured with a large scale 3D printer, the body is made up of three layers, a supportive center component with two detail trim layers. The main body component and bottom trim layer are printed with red PLA filament. Featuring a roasted maple neck, this variant roasts the base model CNRG. Upgrading from a static bridge to a tremolo, this prototype was meant to prove our printed design can handle your dive bombs. This guitar also features volume and tone knobs that are setup backwards because we forgot how to read a website description when ordering parts, as well as a three-way selector switch that is disconnected in the middle because our wiring guy really likes a cut off switch.
How does it work?
The CNRG modular guitar has four components: a body, modular heel, carbon fiber plate, and the neck. Guitar necks can be interchanged with the four included quarter turn fasteners, or removed for travel. Plates housing different electronics or instrument setups can be removed through the back of the instrument. Once removed, access to the modular heel is open so the player can accommodate the guitar type. All bolts are 5/16 in., once assembled, the player can string the instrument like any other electric guitar.
Please note that the guitar shown is a prototype to test new concepts, constraints, and fine tune how the instrument is manufactured and assembled. This product is not a final design or production model and has the defects to show for it. The design shown is that of production level, but we are fine tuning the manufacturing process for better results and efficiencies. Do note that the guitar is functional as an electric guitar and while the modular aspects are in working order, it is not guaranteed that they will be interchangeable with future options. Your support for this product will be directed towards new equipment, materials, and resources to allow the Carbon Rose brand to grow and perfect our product offerings.
